Bryan D. Kabot CFP®, AAMS®, Managing Partner & Chief Operating Officer

Bryan joined Regency Wealth Management in 2013. He started in the financial services industry in 2003 with Morgan Stanley in Newport Beach, California, and transitioned to A.G. Edwards (which later became Wells Fargo Advisors) in 2005 in Short Hills. As a Finan­cial Advisor he has worked with a broad range of clients and strategies including multi-generational estates, institutions, and private investments. Prior to his financial career, Bryan worked in insurance defense litigation and estate planning law.

He earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2001, the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2005, and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional in 2015. He is a member of the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council (GNJEPC) and serves on the Membership Committee.  He was awarded the Five Star Wealth Manager award in 2021 and 2022.

He has served on various boards and helped with local organizations including the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Habitat for Humanity, and Young Life. Currently, Bryan is active in his church community at Grace Church in Ridgewood, serving currently as a leader in adult and children’s ministries. He served as an Elder and the Financial Officer from 2016 through 2021. He also serves on the Board and as Treasurer for the Bergen County Chapter of the New Canaan Society and on the Board for the Eastern Christian Endowment Committee. Bryan and his family have been committed to the develop­ment of family and youth in the area. They support multiple organizations who encourage youth to be leaders, serving our community and beyond.

Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He frequently visits extended family in Pennsylvania, Michi­gan, and Maryland. In his spare time, he likes to road bike, run, play piano, and go to Yankees games.
