Bryan joined Regency Wealth Management in 2013 and has over 20 years of investment experience. He started in the financial services industry in 2003 with Morgan Stanley in Newport Beach, California, and transitioned to A.G. Edwards (which later became Wells Fargo Advisors) in 2005 in Short Hills, New Jersey. Bryan has worked with a broad range of clients and strategies including multi-generational estates, institutions, and private investments. Prior to his financial career, Bryan worked in insurance defense litigation and estate planning.
He earned a B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2001 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional in 2015. In 2005 he received the AAMS® (Accredited Asset Management Specialist) designation from the College for Financial Planning. Bryan was awarded the Five Star Wealth Manager award in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and he serves on the board for the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council (GNJEPC).
Mr. Kabot also serves on various non-profit boards and committees, including the board at Eastern Christian School Association (Treasurer), the Finance Committee at Eastern Christian School Association (Chair), the board of the Bergen County Chapter of the New Canaan Society (Treasurer), and various advisory committees.
He served as an Elder and the Financial Officer from 2016 through 2022 for Grace Church in Ridgewood. He also served on the Foundation for Eastern Christian Schools, the University of Michigan Alumni Association, Habitat for Humanity, and Young Life.
Bryan and his wife, Heidi (Culp), and their three children live in Midland Park. He regularly visits family in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Maryland. The majority of his free time is spent attending his children’s sporting practices and games, mostly soccer. He also enjoys playing soccer, working out at Crossfit Bison, road biking, running, playing piano, and going to Yankees games.
