Andrew M. Aran, CFA, Partner

Andrew AranAndrew joined Regency Wealth Management as a Partner in 2010 after a two year affiliation with LPL Financial and over 18 years in Alliance Bernstein’s Fixed Income Division. As a Senior Vice President, he formed and headed Alliance’s corporate bond research group, managed institutional global credit portfolios, a credit oriented hedge fund, and a retail balanced mutual fund. He has also helped manage numerous institutional and retail bond strategies including open end and close end mutual funds and money market funds. His prior experience includes research roles at PaineWebber, Citibank, and Standard & Poors after being a Relationship Manager at The Chase Manhattan Bank.

A visible and respected professional, Mr. Aran has been published in Institutional Investors, authored a case study in Fabozzi’s Bond Credit Analysis: Framework & Case Studies, has been quoted in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal; has been quoted or interviewed multiple times on Bloomberg and CNBC and has spoken at numerous financial conferences around the world. He also served on Markit iBoxx’s Oversight Committee. He is a member of the CFA Institute, FIASI, and NYSSA (bond and stock analysts associations).

Andrew earned a B.A. from Rutgers University; an M.B.A from Fordham’s Graduate School of Business and was awarded a Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1986. He is currently Treasurer of the Bergen County Society (a Chapter of the New Canaan Society) and on the advisory Board of Street 2 Street. Andy is a member of Grace Church of Ridgewood where he has served on the Elder Board and their finance committee. He is blessed by his marriage to Cindy and with their three children.

Timothy Parker, CFA, Partner

Tim joined Regency Wealth Management as a Partner in 2010 when it became the new brand name of Hudson Capital Management LLC, the firm he founded in 2004. Prior to that, he had provided investment advisory services to individuals and businesses through the Bank of New York’s Personal Asset Management group for five years. Mr. Parker has a deep and broad investing background encompassing over twenty years of business experience including private and public investing across the capital structure of all sizes of companies while working at major banking institutions Bank of America, Bankers Trust, and The Bank of New York. He also managed corporate finance and pension investing activities of a large advertising and communications firm.

He has been widely quoted in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Business Week, SmartMoney, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Bloomberg News, Journal of Financial Planning, US News and World Report, Dow Jones Newswires, CFA Institute magazine, Investment News, and the Star-Ledger. Video interviews include Yahoo!Finance. One of his essays was published in NAPFA Advisor magazine.

Mr. Parker received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from San Diego State University in 1989 and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in September, 2001. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils and is the President of the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council. In addition to his membership in the New York Society of Security Analysts, Tim has been active in NYSSA student mentoring programs since 2005.

Tim is an Elder at Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff and is blessed to have his wife Kyong and their two children.

Mark D. Reitsma, CFP®, CMFC, Partner

mark1Mark joined Regency Wealth Management as a Partner in 2010 after a five year affiliation with LPL Financial and five years with Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor. He was given the Financial Planning Excellence Award in 2003 and was included in Waddell & Reed’s Circle of Champions for three consecutive years, and received the company’s top award, Crest in 2005.

He received his B.A. from Calvin College with a double major in Business & Psychology and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Financial Planning Program. Mark holds the designations CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional & Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor, and is also a current member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Mark is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Christian Health Care Center, a faith based nursing, elder, & mental health care facility in Wyckoff, NJ where he serves as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is also a member of the NY/NJ Chapter of the Calvin College Alumni Association. An active member of his church community, Mark serves as Vice President of the Foundation for Eastern Christian Schools and as a Trustee of the Bergen County Society (a Chapter of the New Canaan Society). He is also an accomplished musician and performer with several church related groups, and is a member and former Deacon of Covenant Christian Reformed Church where he currently serves as a worship leader. When not working or volunteering, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Pamela and their four children.

Brenda S. Woudenberg, Executive Assistant

brendaBrenda has been with Regency Wealth Management since 2010 and has worked with Mark & Andy for the previous 3 years as an Executive Assistant. Prior to that, she had over 15 years of experience working in a bookkeeping and administrative capacity for several family owned business. She is a graduate of Eastern Christian High School and continues involvement with her alma mater by volunteering once a week at their new upscale thrift store “ditto” in North Haledon.

When not working, Brenda enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband Doug and their two daughters.
