Meet the Team: Get to Know Chase Gyles

Chase Gyles - Marketing Coordinator

At Regency Wealth Management, every member of our team plays an important role in supporting our commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality service to our clients. We believe that strong relationships, attention to detail, and a shared sense of purpose are central to everything we do.

In this feature, we introduce Marketing Coordinator Chase Gyles. Chase contributes to Regency’s marketing efforts while bringing a range of personal interests outside of work, including cycling, photography, and spending time along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

Q: How long have you been with Regency?

A: I’ve been at Regency for over two years now!

Q: What’s something valuable that you learned in your career?

A: Something valuable that I’ve learned comes from an article that I read recently about “managing up.” The premise is that many issues employees perceive from their managers are not due to complex issues, but because managers often have a full plate and cannot allocate the necessary time. It’s shifted how I work and how I communicate with my managers.

Q: What’s the best part about working at Regency to you?

A: I believe that we hold our clients with so much respect and we seek to take great care of them. There’s almost a “challenge” of how we can take better care of them. It’s a constant goal of ours to do so and one that I greatly appreciate.

Q: Are you married/do you have kids?

A: Yes, I’m married to Paloma! We’ve been married for three and a half years and have been together for over six years!

Q: Describe your perfect day.

A: Living in West Michigan, a perfect day includes lots of time at the lake (Lake Michigan, that is).

My perfect day would start with a slow morning at the farmer’s market, followed by a long bike ride to the lake, swimming in the water, and ending the day with dinner on the waterfront.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?

A: Yes! I have two main hobbies: photography and cycling.

I used to be a photographer full-time but have transitioned to doing it for myself. You can see my portfolio at https://chasemogyles.com.

I got into cycling over a year ago and have been hooked ever since. I tend to ride around 100 miles each week. It’s been a really fun challenge!

Q: Have you checked something off your bucket list? If so, what?

A: I don’t think I officially have a bucket list, but a goal of mine is to visit all 30 MLB stadiums. I started this challenge with my father before he passed, and I’m currently at 21 of 30.

Q: If you could choose one band/musician to listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?

A: Easy — Lord Huron.

Q: What are three facts about you that people might not know about you?

A:

  1. Red hair was generation-skipping in my family for 400 years, until me. I’m the only one in this generation with it.
  2. Last year, I was the #11 listener of Lord Huron on Spotify out of 33 million monthly listeners.
  3. I am a massive Formula One fan and have gotten most of my friends interested in the sport, although not many of them are Ferrari fans like myself.

Q: What’s one non-work-related accomplishment you’re proud of?

A: Candidly, the accomplishment I am most proud of is growing into the person I am today despite the circumstances of my childhood. I have not done this on my own, but through the grace of God.

Q: What’s something you read/learned recently that grabbed your attention?

A: As someone who is earlier in his career, the article I referenced earlier about “managing up” really grabbed my attention. It challenged me to think differently about how I communicate with managers and helped me better understand the competing priorities they navigate every day.

Q: What’s your favorite food?

A: I can’t think of one specific food, but I do have a restaurant that’s been stuck in my head since I ate there: “avec” in Chicago’s West Loop. It’s a Mediterranean, small-plates restaurant where everything is incredibly flavorful. Genuinely, every bite we had was magic.

Q: What’s your go-to morning beverage (coffee, tea, Red Bull, etc.)?

A: A cappuccino from the Fulton Street location of Madcap Coffee Co. in Grand Rapids, Michigan. If it’s above 55 degrees outside, I order it iced, instead of the traditional hot.

Q: Where’s your favorite place that you’ve been?

A: Zion National Park, specifically in the valley along the Virgin River on the Scenic Drive, between bus stops 7 and 8.

Chase brings a thoughtful and intentional approach to both his work and personal life. Whether refining marketing initiatives at Regency, spending time cycling, or pursuing photography, he values continuous growth, curiosity, and meaningful experiences.

We’re grateful to have him on the team!
